Personal Web Site Assignment
Objectives:
To conceive and develop a web site that represents you, your portfolio and your career objectives. This is a semester long project with the end result being a web site that profiles you and your work. It can include Graphic Design, Photography and/or Fine Art depending on what your objectives are. The main focus should be on how you want to profile and position yourself when it comes to your career objectives. You may also consider Social Media when it comes to promoting yourself. This may include Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter amongst others.

Check out the web sites that people have executed using Adobe Portfolio. Look at content, navigation and overall look and feel. Pay careful attention to the size and quality of images. Quality includes detail, color balance, tonal range and creativity when it comes to imagery.

Major considerations:
• Target audience
• Should you build off equity of resume?
• Ease of maneuverability - is it easy to get back to home page?
• Download time - graphics should be optimized efficiently
• For dimensional items consider photographing and placing in page as three-dimensional image
• Should you define different categories: should fine art be included? Should fine art be separated from design work?

PDF Assignment
Objectives:
You will also put together a PDF file that has at least 8 images. The PDF will work as an email attachment (it can also be a link off of your web site). This will be executed using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Adobe Acrobat. The PDF should be a portfolio of work with captions/description describing the individual solutions. It cannot be over 10 megabytes large. When thinking about your PDF, keep in mind that the audience may know absolutely nothing about you or your work. The goal is to produce "Portfolio Ready" PDF's. I will discuss further in class. Graphics used for PDF can also be used for Adobe Portfolio.

Resume Assignment
Objectives:
You will design a "creative" resume that will relate to your PDF portfolio and web site. This entails designing a resume that establishes consistency as a brand for yourself. The overall look and feel of your site should tie together and be consistent. Think about typography, color, graphic cues and how all the design elements tie together and represent you as a brand. If you have a personal logo consider using it in your site.
